SEO Reporting
Monthly SEO Reporting & Communication
SEO is ongoing, and you should always know what is happening with your investment. Every month you get a report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and what changed, plus a Loom video walkthrough so nothing requires you to interpret data on your own.
What monthly seo reporting & communication includes
- Monthly organic traffic and rankings report drawn from Google Search Console
- Keyword movement breakdown: what improved, what dropped, and the likely reason
- Summary of work completed in the previous month
- Priority work list for the coming month
- Loom video walkthrough of all of the above, typically five to ten minutes
Who monthly seo reporting & communication is for
Clients on an ongoing SEO retainer. This is included as part of monthly packages rather than offered as a standalone service.
What you get
A consistent record of progress and a direct communication loop. No waiting on quarterly reviews to understand what is happening with your organic traffic.
My approach
Each month I pull your performance data from Google Search Console and review it manually. I do not use automated reporting tools that spit out numbers without context. Every metric I include has an explanation of what it means for your business.
The report covers organic traffic trends, keyword ranking movements, and a summary of the work completed during the previous month. I also include a priority list for the coming month so you always know what is next. This often includes updates to the keyword and content strategy as new data comes in.
After the written report, I record a Loom video walkthrough, typically five to ten minutes, where I talk through the key takeaways. This is the part clients tell me they value most because it turns data into plain-English insight without needing a meeting.
Reporting is included as part of the monthly retainer and ties directly into the broader SEO strategy work. It is how we track whether the strategy is working and where to adjust. If you want to learn more about how reporting fits into an ongoing engagement, get in touch to discuss.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get reporting without a monthly retainer?+
Reporting is designed to complement ongoing SEO work, so it is included with the retainer rather than offered standalone. If you need a one-off performance review, an SEO audit would be more appropriate.
What tools do you use for reporting?+
I pull data primarily from Google Search Console, supplemented by rank tracking tools and site crawl data. Everything is reviewed manually before it reaches you.
How do you handle months where rankings drop?+
Drops happen. When they do, the report explains the likely cause, whether it is a Google algorithm update, a competitor gaining ground, or a technical issue, and outlines the plan to recover.
